I always make personalized playlists for books I read. Whatever songs/style of music comes to mind with the title or description or first chapter I put on and let spotify recommend similar music. It’s fun ?
I can read while people are talking and just tune them out and i’m used to tuning out the music we play at work while i’m reading. But if I have a choice then I’d rather have no music playing and just get pulled into the books.
Tchaikovsky, Ludovico Einaudi, or instrumental pieces from movies. It depends on what I’m reading. I listen to the World War Z soundtrack if I read a horror novel, and I listen to Mozart when I’m reading Moby Dick by Herman Melville or other classical books.
@Becky my daughter is currently in hospital after major surgery and struggling to sleep at night. I have shared this with her and am pretty sure it will help. Thanks again.
