Looking for dark/violent/adult fantasy… Already know about Dresden files and the blade itself.

Night Angel
Sandman Slim
Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence
Kings of the Wild
Dresden is dark/adult? Really?
@Troy That’s what I was going to say. Dresden Files is isn’t dark/violent fantasy.
(Most fantasy is adult technically- it’s the demographic default, compared to young adult, middle grade and children fantasy books.)
Yeah, I hate when people use things like “adult fantasy”
To me it says a book is more sex then adventure
It’s what the industry uses to differentiate between demographics, that’s all. Lord of the Rings or Sanderson’s books are both adult fantasy- even though the chance of sex in them is absolutely zero.
Yeah, I know.
But I see/read no difference between Sanderson and Salvatore
I first read LotR when I was 13 or younger
I just used adult for languge and violence i could care less about sex. But im pretty new to the whole book scene.
Highly recommend…The left hand of God by Paul Hoffman.
I woulf say A Song of Ice and Fire, it really tops in the violence and well.. descriptions of most everythinh xD

Bryce O’Connor Wings of War Series has alot of messed up things happening to the characters in his series and the protagonist is a winged lizard man.
Prince of Thorns. The first chapter will probably make you blink twice.
