Dresden is dark/adult? Really?

@Troy That’s what I was going to say. Dresden Files is isn’t dark/violent fantasy.

(Most fantasy is adult technically- it’s the demographic default, compared to young adult, middle grade and children fantasy books.)

Yeah, I hate when people use things like “adult fantasy”

To me it says a book is more sex then adventure

It’s what the industry uses to differentiate between demographics, that’s all. Lord of the Rings or Sanderson’s books are both adult fantasy- even though the chance of sex in them is absolutely zero.

Yeah, I know.

But I see/read no difference between Sanderson and Salvatore

I first read LotR when I was 13 or younger
