[My misread-the-question answer:] The Biography I read on President John Tyler. I saw something recently that indicated he has not been portrayed in ANY movie, and there are so many unusual stories of which he was a part! [John Tyler: Champion of the Old South, by Oliver P. Chitwood.]
Have you read The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer: My Life at Rose Red or anything about The Winchester Mansion? Obviously the first is dated before the movie, but The Winchester Mansion is what Stephen King based the film/miniseries off of.
I watched it…and seem to remember reading it. I think it is packed in a box. I don’t remember it being in screenplay format…but it has been awhile ? and I’m not so young anymore.
The Crimson Petal and the White
I think this was actually made into a mini series in the UK. Don’t know if it is available in the States.
@Amanda it was but I but I haven’t seen it yet. I really would love to see it as a full motion picture. When I read it I see Angelina Jolie as Sugar
Yes, I could definitely see that.
Not a movie but Stranger Things would be a great book series.
I saw someone did buy a book…based on this series.
All the ugly and beautiful things and the keeper of lost things
Or Rose Madder…?
Oh yeah I forgot that was in development.
@Jeff It is????
According to this from July 2017. I can’t find a current status.

@Krista I was just going to message that!
Wait, do you have your question backwards?
That’s what I was wondering…
I thought the same thing too.
It became a lot more challenging because so many movies originated as books, or have already been made into books since their movie release.
I was going to say Soul Surfer, but that was recently given a YA novel.
I don’t go to the movies very often. But were it reversed I have always wanted Shibumi to be made into a movie but I’ll need to do the casting.
None… None at all.
Storm of the Century
There is a book.
The one I’ve see is a screenplay format, not in a paragraph book form.

One of my favorire series would make a great HBO or Netflix series
The Sheepfarmers Daughter series bt Elizabeth Moon.
No, I meant which movie were you wishing was made into a book? Just as I said. I didn’t know there was a Rose Red book.
I so read it wrong!
Me three
I feel like most movies begin as books.
Ashley Hutchinson I did, too! To make it worse, I was sure I had read it!
“I am the pretty thing that lives in the house”
Liked that movie. Eerie.
My corrected answer is: American Beauty, which started as a play.
I love Gilmore Girls and have always wished it were a book or series of books.
@Jenny omg yes please!
Seyit and Sura, a Turkish mini-series would make a great book in English.
The Fighter by Craig Davidson
None of them. The movies ruin it for me.
