Misery. Scariest maybe The Shining.
@Laura Every time we are in a hotel with long halls I picture the little boy riding Jo’s trike down them.
11/22/63 will be my all time favorite book but I am just starting to get into the Stephen King universe
The stand is my favorite then the dark tower series (hated the end though) followed by the green mile and he mr. Mercedes books.
11/22/63 and revival!
Oh haha, misread the post! Neither of these are scary but they’re my favorite ?
My favorite, the Stand. The scariest, Gerald’s Game.
My favorite The Shining. Scariest Pet Semetary.
I’m reading Pet Sematary right now! I like it so far, but I’m not into the scary bits yet.
I think it’s the burying and resurrection of animals and people that really grossed me out.
Favorite: 11/22/63
Scariest: Pet Sematary ?
My favorite is 11/22/63. Scariest I think is The Shining
Misery might be my favorite. It and The Outsider are tied for scariest for me.

It’s more like my favorite series: The Dark Tower.

Favorite is 11/22/63
Scariest is misery imo
Misery is one of my long time favourites and it’s also the scariest
The Stand and The Dark Tower series, as well as The Shining are my favourites
Favorites are Insomnia and Desperation. Haven’t read any scary ones yet.
Favorite? It or The Stand. Scariest? Cujo. Best movie? Misery or Shawshank Redemption.
Favorite is Shawshank Redemption. I don’t do his scarier ones. I only read Shawshank and Green Mile because I liked the movies. didn’t believe it was King at first.
Favorite is Shawshank Redemption. Scariest probably The Long Walk because it seems realistic especially in the times we are living in. Straight to screen The Langoliers, a four hour, two part mini series.
Favorite Salem’s Lot or The Stand. Scariest Pet Semetary or The Shining. I’ll be honest, I haven’t read him since the mid nineties.
My favorite is The Stand
Two faves: Bag of Bones (chilling), 11/22/63 (suspenseful). Scariest absolutely It, but I have a fear of clowns anyway!
The shining hands down. I had one of those huge teddy bears while I was reading it and I had to put it in my closet
I loved the Dark Tower series and The Green Mile. I tend to find his short stories to be scarier than his longer fiction from what I’ve read so far. Just After Sunset was good.
