Of the 3 I read I thought Misery was enjoyable but demanded my attention as there are 2 stories running at tandem.

Shawshank – fascinating and fairly similar to the movie, it’s suspense comes from a crime angle than supernatural

Shining – I thought has a deeper storyline than the movie, as the characters are fleshed out more, out of the 3 I read this the fastest – I found it tense, edge of the seat and full of twists and turns

I liked all 3 but The Shining is the one I could read again and again

Hmmm, I always think it depends which book of his you’re reading at the time. Although Pet Sematary is criminally under-rated and quite possibly his best.
