I’m reading The Cabin At The End Of The World by Paul Tremblay and I’m waiting for something to happen and the plot to reveal itself about 30% in. It’s not bad though.
Am reading The president is missing. The whole thing is extremely scary and something my husband and I often speak of…how easily a foreign power could cripple the US!!
I’m currently reading “Wuthering Heights” ( really like it so far but I’m taking my time and read other books too ) and just started “Leon und Louise” ( I’m on page 18 so I can’t say much about it, but I am very excited 🙂 )
Three books: THE GENTLEMEN’S GUIDE TO VICE AND VIRTUE, THE RED QUEEN, and US AGAINST YOU . Haven’t started the last one, but the other two are meh…don’t hate them but aren’t blown away by them either…
@Alexandria It’s ok. Sometimes books start slow and draw you in. Furyborn didn’t draw me in straight away, but when I finished it, I went to B&N and bought it. Maybe this will be the same…

War Storm- I have enjoyed the series so much but this book is just not doing it for me. Does it get any better? It’s just super slow. I just want to finish it to end the series. I’m Hoping it picks up.
I want to like Reading Lolita in Tehran. I heard it’s a powerful memoir and should be read but I’m just not feeling it. I’m a mood reader and I think this isn’t the book for my current mood. I’m going to put it away and try another time.
Currently reading Uncommon Type by Tom Hanks, which contains short stories featuring typewriters. Also reading The Sharpshooter #14 Las Vegas Vengeance by Bruno Rossi. Both are good.
I almost bought the entire trilogy when I bought the first book. I am so glad I didn’t. Not a thing in that book makes me want to continue the series. And I believe you’re right; every review I read said it was phenomenal? We may be the only two that didn’t care for it! ?

After starting and stopping a few -Thurston House by Danielle Steel. At first I didn’t know if I’d keep reading it or pass it on like the other ones I started since it had boring start- but after about the third chapter it’s pick up.
the demonologist, mostly i’m confused by it which i love as i’m not sure if it’s really about demons taking his daughter or his descent into madness after losing his only child

@Hannah it was very odd. I like Fairytales and Fantasy but this one was a huge nope for me too!
I think we’re like the only people who dislike it lol! I read an arc of it so I don’t know if some things changed in the final novel.
