Get a kindle. The battery lasts forever n the screens dont mess with your eyes.
I LOVE my Nook Glowlight Plus!!!! I only use it to read. But, it can do other things too. ?

I do everything from reading books, watching Netflix, Facebook, internet.
My kids love their Kindle fires. I have it set so they have to read 20 minutes to unlock games or videos and they swear it’s great for everything. Sometimes they prefer it to an actual book or television!

I just bought iPad 4 I downloaded Kinddle App and it’s awesome.
iPad mini
I have a Nook Glowlight 3, a Kindle (don’t remember which one, but it was around $100), and I have both apps on my iPad Mini. They are all good vehicles for reading, tho’ I believe the Kindle is not as intuitive to use as the Nook.
