Any recommendations for books by Mexican/Hispanic authors? Fiction or non-fiction! I’ve been reading a lot of books and have many on my TBR list that are from the African American or African community. It’s opened up so much to me and want to learn more about the Mexican/Hispanic community this year.

Are you specifically looking for a Mexican author, or just one of Latin descent? I love Gabriel Garcia Marquez. He’s Colombian, and has written so many wonderful books. My favorite is One Hundred Years Of Solitude.

I LOVED “Into the Beautiful North”! It was surprisingly comical and strongly feminist while still being traditional. Very impressive!
