All of you who have read 120+ books in a year are absolutely mad and I commend you for your madness! ? I’ve only read like 30-40, which is low for my annual amount, but I’ve been reading a lot of 1000+ page historical novels and The Stand (1450 pages) and such :/
So far 12. I just started #13. I have a 4yo, 2yo and I run a daycare Monday through Friday caring for a handful of other kids. So basically I only get to read after my kids go to bed…that’s if I have the energy.
Wow! My book is on kindle Countdown for only $0.99 til Monday if you like drama, mystery, romance & suspense. 4.5☆☆☆☆ rating on Amazon. Newly Released Oct. Oct. 31 https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07K37V8CW
I’m on #104. Alot less than last year, but most of them have been 500-700+ pages long each and chock full of historical details, so I take lots of notes.

I’m ashamed to say only 9 books this year ? I’ve had a very busy year and I’m a mom with a 2 year old so it’s hard to really find the time to read. I usually would read around 40 books a year
@Jeff I loved The Hate U Give, Before I Let You Go by Kelly Rimmer, Leonardo Da Vinci by Walter Isaacson, Shelter In Place by Nora Roberts. I also read several Jane Austen books that I loved.
I think 27 so far. My goal is 50. This includes audiobooks because sometimes I’m just too tired to read or I have a headache. I like audiobooks so I’m not complaining. But I’m not going to reach my goal. Bummer.
I have never thought of counting how many books I have read in a years time. But now that it has been brought to my attention, I think I will do this in 2019 just to see how much I do read
@Amy I read books but not for pleasure so I wouldn’t consider them as reading. Having 4 jobs in one day is already draining my energy so cannot continuously read books.
I’ve read 16 books this year! The Innocent Mage by Karen Miller; The Terminals by Royce Scott Buckingham; A Court of Thorns and Roses, A Court of Mist and Fury, A Court of Wings and Ruin, and A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas; Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies by Lindsay Ribar; The Selection by Kiera Cass; City of Bones, City of Ashes, and City of Glass by Cassandra Clare; Give the Dark My Love by Beth Revis; The Hunger Games, and Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins; The Long Walk by Stephen King; and After the Game by Abbi Glines.

Any favorites out of this year’s pile?

I have never thought of counting how many books I have read in a years time. But now that it has been brought to my attention, I think I will do this in 2019 just to see how much I do read
I have kept a list for the last 30 years of all the books I have read now I use Goodreads easier to keep track
At least 50. Didn’t read all summer
So sad, but I only get to finish two this year and one that I’m currently reading now. 🙁
@Candymint I read 30 ish. I was super busy
@Amy I read books but not for pleasure so I wouldn’t consider them as reading. Having 4 jobs in one day is already draining my energy so cannot continuously read books.
Around 30. Goal was 50 with Goodreads challenge, but I haven’t had as much time to read as I would’ve liked. Will go for 50 again in 2019.
