I usually have at least one book on my Overdrive or Kindle app that I am reading so I can read on my down times outside the house and an actual book at home that I read at night before bed.
Are usually just one but sometimes if I’m reading a series I will stop in between books and read another book or two or series. Actually I’m doing that right now I put a series on hold that I’ve read several times in rereading another series it’s much much shorter.
I get in a mood for a certain book, then another one catches my attention, so I am the same way. I probably have about 7 or 8 books I am in process of reading. It does take a while to finish a book this way. Reminds me of channel surfing in a way. Fortunately I usually remember what the book is about if I put it down for a while. Go BOOKS!!
me also. I usually have a train travel-reading book, that’s often more detailed etc where I can focus. And another one for when there’s nothing much worth watching on tv
I try to keep it to 2 or three, mostly this year I have been good about keeping to one till done but right now I’ve three on my plate, but to be fair I am almost done with one. I used to read around five at the same time. bouncing from one to another.
5 – one for each of the 2 book clubs I belong to, my early morning “BIG BOOK READ, one contemporary book and my go to paperback – a l ight book to carry around any where
I usually have at least two going.
Does it get confusing lol
Well, do you watch more than one program on TV, and know what is going on in each of them? Haha, it is the same, really.

I regularly have 4 or more books on the go – I’ll pick up & read the one that best suits my mood at the time.
2. I always have 1 fiction book and one political / historical / biography going.
Atleast 3. I’m doing 6 now. It is not confusing to me as i read different kinds of stories. It’s like changing the channel on tv.
Exactly!
3
I used to read anywhere from 4-10, now I’m trying to stick to 3: 1 physical, 1 kindle and 1 audio.
I try to keep to only 2 or 3 active readings because I have college reading that take priority.
Four
I usually read 1 at a time
Just one lol
Sometimes 2 at a time.
3
A lot…..
Three or four
Three maybe five
2 to 3 books
Four
I’ve had up to 5 or so; when I was in school. Now, it varies from 2 to 3.
One book at a time for me.
I have had 4 at one time.
Too many, so it often take me forever to finish one. I hate it. (I blame ADHD?)

Right now it’s 6 but I’m focusing on some more than others

me also. I usually have a train travel-reading book, that’s often more detailed etc where I can focus. And another one for when there’s nothing much worth watching on tv

Usually 3…A book from a series, a classic and a non fiction.
At least 2. As many as 5.
7 but that includes nonfiction that I am currently referencing as well as textbooks.
2 at a time is all I can handle. I read one with my husband and one for me.

2
Usually 4 or 5.
One at a time, average one a week which would make reading 52 books a year, but sometimes more.
5 – one for each of the 2 book clubs I belong to, my early morning “BIG BOOK READ, one contemporary book and my go to paperback – a l ight book to carry around any where
3 or 4
Many!
Usually 3 to 5.
I do better reading one book at a time but sometimes yield to temptation and start a second one (like I’m about to do right now).
2
I can only read 1 at a time otherwise I get confused.
