@Kayleigh – I’m new to Prime and have just seen that a good number of books in my library come up as having audio companions so do you have to pay for those? & are those the ones you are referring too?. Thanks.x
I use Overdrive to download from library. And Smart Audiobook Player for books I need to be faster than 2.0x. I can’t listen in regular speed now. It’s too slow.
YouTube has tons.
Those are all pirated.
Oh I didnt realize that. I have audible , playster and hoopla so I dont often check youtube. But that is good to know
Overdrive
Thank you.
Overdrive and Libby are free…you just need a library card
Do those run off of data or can i download them? I like to listen to audiobooks while driving but have to limit my data use on my phone.
@Tera you can download them
OverDrive or Libby (Libby is just a more user-friendly version of OverDrive). Hoopla is another one. All you need is a library card.
Thanks I’ll try them ?
Libby and RB digital
Mobile.9
I use OverDrive, and Audible.
If you have Amazon Prime, some audio options come with the Prime Reading Catalog.
Yes I’m a Amazon prime member

I’m using a free trial on audible but I’m guessing you have to pay a fee monthly for you to use the service.
@Kelly I believe you have to pay for those. With Prime, there is a select list of books you can borrow, and they come with audio options.
@Stefany not to use the app, only if you want to purchase books. I haven’t needed to yet.
Ok got it thank you.
Hoopla- free from many local libraries
See if your library is on Hoopla
Thank you all for the recommendations. ?

I have Smart Audiobook Player. The free version doesn’t have many options, but it serves it’s purpose
I got the app castbox recently. It’s for android, and mostly for podcasts, however there are audiobooks on there. Mostly classics.
