When a new book comes out I read it. After that I listen to audiobooks. Great if you wanna refresh your memory before the next book in a series comes out.
I love them! Especially when I’m commuting, or basically when I can’t read the physical book. This is my go to when I want to reread a novel. I’m familiar with the story, reading it in different format. You should try it.
Love them listen to them while I’m cleaning the house, folding laundry, running errands. I usually have one audio book and one traditional book going at all times.
I honestly can’t do it. I can’t stand listening to people talk for a long time, and end up coming out and not paying attention. Being a hands on person, I have to have a book in front of me and read for myself.
I listen to audiobooks all the time & I love it. Especially when I don’t have time to sit down & read. I’m a active reader which means that I annotate my books. This takes a bit of time. So audiobooks are great.
Love listening to an audio book when I’m driving (especially during afternoon traffic) it helps with the stress of driving. I don’t like todays music and I use to listen to radio news but lately news has gotten so bad and negative that I just can’t anymore! So a good audio book makes my driving time a good time! ?
Most of my books are on audible and the others should be eventually. I don’t mind audiobooks. It’s a different experience from reading but with the right narrator it can be just as good. It’s faster for reviewing and great when driving or sick with your eyes to blurry to read.
I honestly prefer audio books to braille books, but if I could still see I’d prefer the actual books to audio but unfortunately I can’t see so my answer would have to be that I love audio books better than braille
I do about 50-50 audio and ebook/print. Audio for the ‘easy’ reads and ebooks for the deeper reads. I get most of my books through my library and the Overdrive app. My favorite reads are purchased for my personal library.
Read the reviews and try to get full cast versions. some are worth more than they cost, others have awful recording and horrible narrators. better than ebooks, worse than real books
The narrator can make or break nearly any audiobook. I do listen to them, but so far it has mostly been of the personal development and self-help genres.
Love non-fiction, something to listen to during chores/long drives. Can’t really do fiction books, I just love relaxing with a book. I do believe they are two different experiences. I feel like I get lost with what’s going on when listening to fiction; I love making up my own scenes. 🙂
If the reader is good, they are a joy. If the reader isn’t, then I stop and return that book to the library. I always sample the book before I buy it from iTunes as I have accidentally purchased audiobooks with terrible readers.
Love them! Didn’t think I would and resisted them for ages. Hooked now though ? I’m an embroiderer working from home so I wear noise cancelling wireless headphones and listen whilst I’m working. I get through quite a lot of books as I’m listening all day ? I like long books that I can really get into. Currently working my way through the Outlander series. Planning on Game of Thrones next ?
I love them listen to at least 100 a year.
I love hearing the authors read their books
I love audiobooks. The narrators really bring the stories to life ?
Love them

Listened to books when I walked after my husband passed because music was too painful.
I love them – I listen to audio books when I’m walking the dog on my own, exercising and doing housework!

Can’t handle them! You may miss parts
They have their place, great for long driving trips.
Love them for at work and in the car!
I get mine from the library and love listening to them in my vehicle.
I like them. Especially if i’m busy with school stuff i would just plug it in and read through my ears
Helpz enhancing pronunciation, vocabulary. Reduces Mother tongue Influence
I am trying to download the app for the library, but each area seems to have their own way of doing things.
Audible and Blinkist work seamlessly.
Me too. Just my audible app on my Amazon fire tablet and got hooked. Looking forward for my next one.
I love them! I’ve been listening to them in the car for 12 years now.
I love them!
LOVE Hooked. listed daily, in the car, when doing dishes, laundry… etc.
Love them for long car trips when driving! Books at the ready if someone else drives.
I prefer actual books however audiobooks do come in handy when I’m crocheting or doing the dishes
I love them. Particularly when I have eye strain and can’t read a physical book.
Audio books are great if I have too much to do, but still want to get into a book.

I can’t do them personally. Hope I never have to
That bad is it?
I have auditory issues
So unfortunately I cannot do audiobooks Lol. But if for some reason I went blind, I would have to

I love them. Though I prefer physical books, I love the convenience of audiobooks.

I personally dont like audiobooks.
I can never focus on the story.
The narrator can make or break nearly any audiobook. I do listen to them, but so far it has mostly been of the personal development and self-help genres.
Love them! I work out on the road so I drive a lot. My local library has a great selection?
I love them!
Only for non-fiction ❤️

@Tracy good idea. I need to get a library card haha
Great for long drives. Other than that I prefer a book in my hands.
Not for me and I tried twice with 2 different books
LOVE them! I deliver pizzas and I listen to them while I’m working.
Love them, makes doing the housework a lot more interesting.
love them to
Good if you do the housechores or don’t have your book with you
