Before We Were Yours and Mr. Mercedes
Just started listening to Before We Were Yours.
Harry Potter series and Lincoln in the Bardo – but you have to know what your getting into before you start that one and you probably will want a hard copy, too. It is a phenomenal production!!
Lincoln in the Bardo. One of my all time favorites.
Where the Crawdads Sing
@Jane Isn’t it amazing???
@Linda Amazing… truly. Blew me away.
@Linda , have you listened to, or read, All the Light We Cannot See? Another superb work.
@Jane Me, too! I literally listened to the very end of it in the cemetery down the road from us. All the phenomenal readers!!
@Jane I have not yet. I have it in my TBR list.
@Linda, it’s another one where the audio is so good because we get to hear all the accents – the narrator is terrific.
The Moon Sisters was a great audio also because of the southern dialect. Really enjoyed that.
@Linda I haven’t even heard of that! Wow. Will add to the list!
I read all the Harry Potter books and now am going to do the audiobook books! Just got my first one!
@Ellen that’s what I did and it was wonderful!!
I LOVE Craig Johnson’s Longmire series. Pretty darn different than the tv series. George Guidall, narrator, is superb. Series is superb. Also, Louise Penny’s Three Pines series. Just the best. Really.
My husband and I are listening to the Three Pines Series on our road trips to our grandkids. We will be in #3 on our next trip ?
Linda, that is so cool!
And, yes, I AM in love with Armand. 🙂
I drove a lot for work (visiting schools in northern arizona) and often was the the time I had to just pull over and cry.
@Jane I had to do that once with one of Jodi Piccoult’s books. I was so shocked at the ending!!!
I have only ever read Whale Song and, while I wanted it to end differently, I tried to reconcile myself to the idea that yes, Ms. Picoult gets to decide. ?
@Jane Her books always blow me away. I have to digest awhile before I start another book ?
@Linda – yep, I get it!!!
The Help. Superb.
The Help, Outlander, Harry Potter, The Alice Network, A Gentleman in Moscow
