I participate in a reading challenge monthly so read a minimum of 10 books a month. I always try to read a classic each month also.

I do a monthly BINGO board with prompts for different authors, genres, topics, and formats. I love it because I get thru at least this 24 books a month and pull most off my TBR list and it gets me out of my comfort zone a little. I’ve completed my board every month since July except for 2 books in Oct.

I like to read at least one LGBTQ+ book a month, and I like to make progress in the series I’ve started.

I had to stop setting goals. I am a little hard on myself and get mad when I don’t attain those goals. It took the fun out of reading for me unfortunately

I go with the flow. Sometimes I have a book challenge of some kind choose and other times I do whatever I want. That said, some months I do have reads that need to be read. Like next month I need to have three specific books read. But I don’t give myself a set monthly number.
