@Beth It’s been a while, but i remember it being an eye opening read. It got me into Sixx’s new band Sixx AM. They released an album along with the book
Anna Kendrick Scrappy Little Nobody Drew Barrymore Wildflower Aisha Tyler Self Inflicted Wounds Bob Saget Dirty Daddy Mackenzie Philips High On Life Shirley Jones Memoir Billy Crystal Still Foolin’ Them Gabrielle Union We’re Going To Need More Wine Sadie Robertson Live Original Lily Collins Unfiltered Lauren Graham Talking As Fast As I Can Rory Feek This Life I Live Dianne Lake Member of The Family (not really a celebrity, but a notorious subject matter)
Jade goody, Lynda Bellingham, McFly, lee Evans, Paul O’Grady (their all the ones I can remember, there is probably more) I have Graham Norton, John bishop and Julie Walters on my shelf to read. My aunt loved celebrity autobiography’s so when she died I took all the ones that I wanted to read. I won’t get rid of them after I have read them cause it’s one of the only things I have that belonged to my aunt. X
A JFK one; I’m not generally interested in biographies but I’m fascinated with the Kennedys. I also have 2 others on my tbr, one on Julius Caesar and the other on Guevara
@Lori I really liked it. I watch his show and am a fan as it is. He writes about his childhood growing up as a mixed (“colored,” which was worse than black) child in apartheid South Africa. Interesting read and emotional in places. He seems like a genuinely optimistic person.
I read lots of bios/autobiographies. Currently reading My Girls by Todd Fisher about his mom, Debbie Reynolds and his sister, Carrie Fisher. It’s entertaining!!
Someone would have to be pretty darned impressive for me to have an interest in reading about their life. The only autobiography I recall reading is Katharine Hepburn’s, but that’s just off the top of my head.
Emir Kusturica. It’s not just bio of a fantastic director it also gives you a glimpse into the life on Balkan during and right after the communist era. It’s funny and sour like his movies. This is my favorite autobiography I read yet.
Just bought Sally Field’s – looking forward to it. I’ve LOVED Amy Poehler’s and Trevor Noah’s books. And I need to track down the update to Jane Fonda’s.
I’ve only read Bossypants (Tina Fey) and Chelsea Handler’s Uganda Be Kidding Me…these are both great if you want to brutally honest and super funny life stories.
Kendra Wilkinson, Shawn Johnson, The Zobrists, and I *think* thats it
Tiffany Haddish, Chrissy Metz…..hmmmm I’d have to sift through my list for others but those are the most recent lol
Anthony Hopkins, John leguizamo
