@Dee it is very detailed and you feel as if you went back in time. We live in WI so when I went to Chicago I saw some of the buildings discussed still standing. So darn good!
Ann Rule about John Wayne Gaycy. Google Jeffrey Dahmer to read a really gross and chilling account of his murders. Helter Skelter. I am a nice person, but I love serial killer stories. Oh! Devil in the White City.
I loved the Ann Rule books!
J.A. Jance and Karin Slaughter
I love Karin slaughter, but isnt her stuff fiction? Or does she also have some nonfiction I don’t know about?
@Cassie No you are so right. How about this one! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/35068432-i-ll-be-gone-in-the-dark
Is this fiction or non fiction
@Dee Non fiction.
@Hill she’s one of my favorite authors, but I know she has a couple of books out that I haven’t gotten yet, which is why I asked!
I just finished I’ll Be Gone in the Dark. It’s such a shame she died before they caught the Golden State Killer.
Devil in the white city. To the bridge. I’ll be gone in the dark
Great book!!!
I have this one, Glenn Beck from the blaze told this story on his news channel….very interesting

@Laura that’s so cool, and a little creepy when you think about what happened in those buildings ???
@Dee no kidding hey!!!
Devil in the white city!
Definitely Ann Rule
I agree! Ann Rule is absolutely amazing! She was the best true crime writer.
Anything by Ann Rule.
Patricia Cornwell are my favorite
I didn’t know she was non fiction, I have a few of her books, but haven’t read them
@Dee sorry my figures moved before I read your whole post…she is not Non-fiction. I apologize.
Lol its ok, it happens to the best of us ?
Those are fiction, right?
@Author yes
The Flesh Eaters
Based on the infamous Sawney Bean family <3
Eeeww sounds gross lol
I find the story fascinating…. More than likely a loose inspiration for Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes…
