(x) Stalkers
Any recommendations welcome
Serial killers you can’t beat Chris Carter for being graphic, although Stuart Macbride and Mo Hayder are pretty graphic too. The only stalker one I can think of would be The Book of You
Maybe you could try some true crime as well as fiction
Nameless by Joe Conlan ?
Stalkers: You by Caroline Kepness & The Story of You by Claire Kendall…I couldn’t finish the later as the stalker was sooooooo infuriating & the atmosphere of the book was so claustrophobic so she did a good job with the writing
Do either of these have any animal harm/death in them? I’m overly sensitive to animals being hurt/killed.
I don’t think so but honestly can’t say for sure. I think the main character in You is just cruel to humans.
(I read them awhile ago & my memory not great!)
Would agree with Tilly Chris Carter and Mo Hayder .Haven’t tried Stuart Macbride yet but it’s on my list.
The book of you – stalker
Thirteen steps down – stalker
The silence of the lambs – serial killer
American psycho – serial killer
Only ones that immediately come to mind <3
Thanks
Bad boy from rosebud tx he was the broomstick killer
Chris Carter is an amazing serial killer author! His books are really graphic and gory ? The Book of You by Claire Kendall is a good stalker book! ? The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks is also an unexpected but good stalker book ?

If you look at the books published by Bloodhound Books, you’ll find heaps amazing works that fit your bill.
I was just thinking that all the books I have recommended are Bloodhound ?
The Camille books by Philip Le Maitre probably fit the bill. Also, Lars Kepler’s The Hypnotist?
Ripper by Michael slade… Some sick shit.
The DS Heckenburg series by Paul Finch are brilliant – well written and the first one is about ….. Stalkers …. excellent series of books

How about the series of books about Dexter the forensic blood spatter analyst for the Miami Dade police who in his spare time is a serial killer who stalks and murders other killers? It was made into a tv series which I loved. Unfortunately I haven’t read the books so don’t know who wrote them but I’m sure Google can tell you!
Jeff Lindsay writes them the first one is called darkly dreaming dexter
There are 8 books in the series
Thanks Crystal Powers. I have thought about reading the books but loved the tv show so much it probably would be disappointing different. ?
I did read the reviews and it seemed very mixed… a lot of people said the tv show was better…
Val McDermid’s Wire in the Blood and Mermaids Singing.
All of that series involving Tony Hill and Carol Jordon is brill xx
Revenge of the Malakim by Paul Harrison Author – a serial killer and very very graphic – seems ideal for you
