As I live abroad to me any book about the UK brings back memories. One book by Agatha Cristie Cant remember the title about the family being snowed in and the way she described the colour of the sky and cold has remained with me remembering the harsh winter in the sixties when I still lived in Birmingham.

I’m about half way through my first Elly Griffiths book which is set in Norfolk where I grew up. I’m really enjoying the setting and the familiarity of it all.
I love the Roy Grace series by Peter James, I’ve read every one in chronological order. Dead good series?❤️. Check them out and you’ll understand that last comment ??
Currently I recommend William Shaw’s books – two series, one set in 1960s London, the other in present day Kent. I also thoroughly enjoyed John Wainwright’s Yorkshire series, though they are very hard to find now.
