Loved it! Here’s an example of a very long Stephen King book that deserved/needed to be the length it was (unlike Sleeping Beauties). 11/22/63 was exactly as long as it needed to be; it didn’t drag, or get dull, or feel gratuitous at any point.
Amazing book! My friend tried for years to get me to read it, and when I finally did, I hit myself for waiting so long. 🙂 The ending actually made me cry.
Really enjoyed it, but Kings meandering style of writing is an acquired taste. He seems to go off on a tangent with a character or scenario and then 200 pages later, it makes sense
You’ll chunk this book across the room…. BUT, after you do that, leave it there, don’t pick it up again… yet. I promise you, in a few days, maybe after a week, you’ll pick it up, look at it with reverence, and place it on a prominent place on your bookshelf.
I guarantee you someone will ask you if you read that “trash.” I (almost) guarantee you, you’ll look at that person like they’re the dumbest person on earth. Don’t dignify the question with anything other than that look…
Read it cover to cover. Then you’ll understand why I said that….
I got 3/4 way through it and SK went back to the beginning again, emotionally. He didn’t go forwards, he went backwards… he did the exact same thing in ‘Under the Dome’. Both books reverted back to the beginning and went over everything in tiny detail – something I just can’t do in such a large book. Don’t read it… a waste of time – especially when it’s about such an important part of history.
Really enjoyed it but it’s super long. I listened to it as an audiobook and it worked quite well. Loved the “what if angle” and the consequences. Thought the ending was perfect.
I began seeing a set formula in Mr King’s books. Almost an assembly line, so I don’t read him anymore. BTW, his wife Tabitha wrote a book titled Small World. It’s really good!
I thought it was very good. I have been disillusioned with his more recent books but was quite a fan in the early days. However I read a lot of good things about this book and wasn’t disappointed.
My favorite Stephen King book! It’s so good!
Loved it! I found the mix of reality and fantasy really interesting. What did you think @Vicki?
Just starting….length of the book unexpected, but it sounds worthwhile. ?
Loved it!!

Loved it! One of my favorites ofhis.
Liked it a lot. Got a little draggy in the middle, as King is known to do, but overall pretty great.
I really liked it
A favorite! So creative. I was completely immersed in it, and was so sad when it was over.
I didn’t want to let those people go …
????
I really really liked it..
Loved it!
So good! Classic Stephen King
It was long but liked it
Reading it right now. Amazing!
????????
Omg loved it!
❤️??❤️??
LOVED IT! It’s a love story. I don’t like horror but this isn’t horror.
Absolutely loved it!
Blew me away.
Love it! The beginning was so thrilling for me because I often wonder about time traveling and I have a serious obsession with the Kennedys/the 1960s.
Loved it, magic meat
Tried ordering it on Amazon and it is back ordered.
Loved it! Nail biting suspense.
??
Thank you so much. Full speed ahead. Will post when I am done. ?
One of my favorites – ever!
Fantastic!
I loved it, I’ve read it twice. It’s fantastic book, one of my favorites
Best Stephen King book to date
Couldn’t put it down!
Great book! Read it before you watch the Hulu mini-series.
No. Don’t even waste your time with the TV series. Everything is a cheap knock off of the book…
Great read.
Loved it!!!
Loved it- surprised that King has books that aren’t horror stories.
I want to read this. Looked for it at my local book store but they didn’t have it. I’m going to try Amazon
I am the only one who is struggling with this book??
Favorite book of all time.
loved it
Great book! Read it when I was younger
Loved it! Definitely one of his best!
Loved it. My favorite Steven King book.
Excellent story.
Excellent
One of my favorite books! I got so attached to Sadie.
Loved this one!
So rich and deep. One of his best. ?
Loved it!
I recently started it……only on page 98. So far, so good.
Loved it!! ?
One of my favorites.
Loved it
Amazing book! My friend tried for years to get me to read it, and when I finally did, I hit myself for waiting so long. 🙂 The ending actually made me cry.
Wonderful book!
A great read and probably my favorite King book to date.
Loved it also
Absolutely loved it. Read it several years ago and it’s stuck with me. Such a fun read!
So good! He is a good writer and does a great job with the time and the topic…
One of my favorite books. I was sad when it was over!
Loved it!
I am in the minority. I was bored, but I listened to the audiobook so that may have been part of the reason why. I didn’t care for the narrator.
I listened to the audiobook and I loved it. My favorite Stephen King book.
I was so excited to read this book after so many positive reviews, but I was disappointed. Didn’t force myself to finish it.
I think that might have been my issue too. The bar was raised too high for me 🙂
Really enjoyed it
Must read!!!!!! You HAVE TO get past page 200…..then you will NOT PUT IT DOWN!!!!!????
Really enjoyed it, but Kings meandering style of writing is an acquired taste. He seems to go off on a tangent with a character or scenario and then 200 pages later, it makes sense
Amazing!!!
Love it!
I loved it.
I loved it
Liked it
The best — loved it on audio!
Didn’t think I liked Stephen King until I read this. Loved it so much that I want to read more of his books.
I hope he writes more non horror, love his writing.
Best book ever!!! Read it!!
Absolutely wonderful book!
I haven’t read the book but I loved the series on Hulu!

Really fun read!
Read lots of SK before this one. It has lots of references to other books of his that you might miss if you didn’t read them.
I loved this book usually not a SK reader because of subject matter. He’s a very gifted writer
He is, and although some themes repeat, I still enjoy his novels.
Top 3 of his work, imo
Great story… Great book… A bit too long, especially towards the end…
I liked the way he ended the “what-if” story.
Enjoyed the Oswald arc a lot. Less thrilled with the Sadie story.
I loved it.
I’ve recommended it several times. And I’m not a Stephen King fan.
Really enjoyed it but it’s super long. I listened to it as an audiobook and it worked quite well. Loved the “what if angle” and the consequences. Thought the ending was perfect.

Top 3!! Loved this book
I enjoyed most of the book but the ending did not work so well for me. It felt rushed and disjointed.
That’s what I think: the historical stuff was so good and then it fell apart. I’m still glad I read it.
One of his best IMO and I’ve read them all.
I loved it. I love Stephen King in general, but I thought that 11/22/63 was one of his best books. I’m partial to science fiction type books, though.
Just so happens, this is my favorite SK book
And thanks to you, it’s now one of my favorite books! 🙂
I thought it was extraordinarily good! On my “best ever” list
30 hours on audio . Only 12 more to go .
Loved it! Still stays with me.
I Loved it!!! Maybe could have been edited a bit but I really enjoyed it and it’s very much Stephen King in making you think about consequences.
Enjoyed it
I thought it was very good. I have been disillusioned with his more recent books but was quite a fan in the early days. However I read a lot of good things about this book and wasn’t disappointed.
Really good
I loved it.
Astonishingly good.
Fabulous book!
Good book.
Loved it!
My grandma loved that book
