The first two books, the witching hour and lasher are really good, after that things start getting weird.

My favorite Anne Rice book. But I recommend stopping at this one. The sequels keep getting weirder and weirder and really turned me off.

I couldn’t get into Lasher – it was too weird even in the beginning. So I just count the first one as a stand-alone book.

No I didn’t how did you like the other books some say The Witching Hour is the best one and I shouldn’t continue with the other books?

Amy

@Sandra I have to agree. I loved The Witching Hour. Unfortunately, it went down hill from there.

Leslie

@Sandra Lasher is more about him how he got to where he is.
Taltos is more about the species he’s from mostly.
I prefer Taltos i’ve got no reason to nor do i think the other 2 are bad, just in my opinion read all of them.

@Leslie so I can probably just stop at the Witching Hour if I wanted to!

Amy

@Leslie I think I also prefer Taltos over Lasher, with The Witching Hour still my favorite.

1
Leslie

@Sandra Yes, if you read Lasher you need to read Taltos and vice a versa

Jen
