If you ever get the chance to tour her house, that’s an intense experience.

yes. that is the important part. it is a true story
When my husband and I were stationed in Germany, we went to Amsterdam to her house. It really brings it home to you and then I bought her book when we were done with the tour of her house that they were hiding in.
Beautiful, heartbreaking book.
You may want to read “The Hiding Place” by Corrie Ten Boom also!

@Tina, yes! About growing up in Holland and Hiding Jewish people and going to prison camps!!! All non- fiction!!
I read that at least 40 years ago. Great book
