Read them as a teen ager and loved them. Identified fully with red headed Anne
Enjoyed both books!
Yes, I’ve read Anne of Green Gables several times and love it. I’ve read the series all through at least once.
I’m reading AoGG with my 9 yr old granddaughter. One of the best things she’s ever said was, “Nana, you make reading fun”.
My favorites as a kids. I read the entire series — I think there were 7 books that followed her life and ended with her daughter’s tale.
I found out in another book group there are 8 in total culminating in WWI
I’ve read Anne of green gables , Anne’s a very likeable character, enjoy ?
Hope you enjoy it more than I did. I read Anne of Green Gables for the first time this year. Not one I’m going to return to, I found Anne somewhat irritating.
Countless times
Having exhausted more than my entire years reading list months ago, I am just pottering around with books on a whim until the end of the year ?
Many, many times! Love the books!
I have, they’re beautiful stories.
I am just finishing off the Alice in Winderland books, so, will begin Anne of Green Gables this week. Can’t wait ?
I read Anne of green gables, hmm somehow I didnt enjoy it..?
I’ve read the series. Somehow, as a kid, the characters in books were more real to me than people.
Love Anne with an E!
@Jennifer I like the older one better
Reread them a bunch of times. The first 3 books are the best (take Anne from age 11 to about 21). There is a very sweet slow-developing romance in this series (takes until the end of book 3 to decide if she really likes the guy).
I’ve read them all. Wonderful books. The last one in the series Rilla of Ingleside is actually my favorite.
Awesome reads ?
Loved them!
