Jude the Obscure by Thomas Hardy is infinitely depressing.
So are most books by Thomas Hardy! lol.
Thomas Hardy made me fall in love with reading when I was a kid. Absolutely loves them all.
Hate Thomas Hardy, probably because I was forced to read him at school. I just found Mayor of Casterbridge unrelenting misery.
