Anyone reading or read The Discovery of Witches series. I loved the first book, but having a hard time getting into the second one.

What the Wind Knows, a time travel book about the Irish Revolution in the early 1900s.
The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See Great book set on an island near Korea. It is my book club pick.
Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand by Helen Simonson was one of my all time favorites. The cover itself is so unique and beautiful. After 6 years, her second book The Summer Before the War did not disappoint!

I liked The Milkman by Anna Burns, award winner (Booker I think). Humorous and written in a different way than many- you learn about the conflict in Belfast/Northern Ireland. Also like A Thousand White Women, about early American attempt to marry natives to white women. Also The Latehomecomer: A Hmong Family Memoir (one person’s journey from SE Asia to America)
