Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, full cast
oooo Ive been meaning to read that book ^_^
Let me know what u think!
i shall!!
It depends on what kind of fantasy you like. If you are into epic try Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, gorge rr Martian, Scott Lynch. If you like Urban fantasy try Jim butcher.
I read a bit of all fantasy. Urban, Dark, Epic, etc.
Dresden Files is fantastic.
I am going to lurk because I’m doing the same
lurk away lol
I do a lot of driving for my work so am pretty much constantly listening to audiobooks. Pretty much anything you could want to read has an audiobook counterpart
I’ve heard that some books are good in audio and other arent because the voices aren’t good. Any recommendations?
This is what I currently have. Liked all of them. I love audible because if you don’t like a book you can exchange it no questions asked so you only have to keep books you really love
I will say careful if you do the lightbringer series. There are two different editions with very different voice actors. I listened to the first on on YouTube with one actor then had a hard time initially getting into the “new voice” audible offers
So many option. woohoo!!! You are sincerly the best ^_^ Thank you for the recommendations ^_^
The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss is amazing and you won’t regret buying it
I will have to check it out ^_^
The Stormlight Archives. Loved the narrators!
I believe the same narrators do wheel of time.
All the Charley Davidson Grave books by Darynda Jones are super fun. Narrated by Lorelei King
Harry Potter is amazing and The First Law trilogy was excellent.
Brent Weeks.
My job requires a lot of driving, so I also audiobook regularly. Audiobooks are probably Jordan’s most digestible format if you’ve ever struggled finishing a WoT book. Sanderson’s fantastic and the Stormlight Archive is the real deal. Michael J Sullivan’s Riyria series and related books translate well into audiobooks and are well-narrated. The Powder Mage books by Brian McClellan are well worth a look if you have any interest in military fantasy.
With a toddler and a long drive to work, audiobooks have become my best friend. Some of my favorites to listen to are Demon Cycle Series, Kingkiller Chronicles, First Law Series, Harry Potter, The Magicians Series, Mistborn, and Stormlight Archive. I am working my way through all the Robin Hobb series right now on audio book and they are really good as well. If you are going to go through audible, it is worth it to may monthly fee and bank up credits. Also – I can gift you one book for free so if you want any of the above, let me know and I can send you one 🙂
I agree the Magicians Series was also very good.
What do you mean you can gift one for free?
Iron druid anything read by luke Daniels is awesome. He does so many different voices and accents
Do they have Terry Brooks on audio?
Any story by Robert e Howard
Thanks for the suggestions everyone ^_^ I really appreciate it.
Red Rising.
Kingkiller was amazing … Harry Potter is nice as well
And there’s also the first law trilogy
I Second the first law trilogy. It’s a great story with some of the best characters ever created. And it will make you laugh out loud often.
EVERYTHING BY N.K. JEMISIN! Tales of the Otori by Lian Hearn. The Tensorate Series by JY Yang.
Conan the barbarian most of Robert e Howard’s classics are free on YouTube
