That’s true, I use my library a lot for audiobooks. But my library’s selection isn’t that great so I end up using my audible credits too. Hoopla and Libby are great if your library participates
Yes! I listen to audiobooks on my ride to and from work and it’s a very enjoyable way for me to deal with the commute. Plus, something about the story being told to me makes me feel like I’m taking part in it. I love them!
Not that I’m aware of, but I could be wrong. I’m fairly certain the app is only for books you’ve purchased via audible though. Amazon is too greedy for me to believe otherwise ?
I downloaded the app when I got a free audiobook promo code (x amount of downloads until code expires type promo), but I haven’t signed up for the subscription yet
http://libro.fm/ !!! You can support a local bookstore through your memebership and you can keep the books if you cancel your membership! Best decision I’ve made. Also, when I did have an issue with an audiobook, customer service was phenomenal!
Audible has the best deals. A book under $5 each day. 2 or 1 credit, 3 for 2 credits, etc. I also subscribe to Audiobooks, but still like Audible bet. Also, my public library has audios.
Yes, because when the book is huge & you don’t have the strength to drag it and read it on your chest. Another reason, listen to it when people around you are talking garbage but you are civil.
It took me years to finally try audiobooks and it took me awhile to get used to them……but I like them now. I listen to them if I’m doing the ironing and the kids are all at school. I can’t listen to them when I drive though. I think they’re ideal for ppl who have trouble with reading, for one reason or another, or who don’t have the time to just sit and read.
Yes yes yes! I love it. I’ve listened to 8 audiobooks just this month. Normally I can only read a couple books a month.
I say yes. I love losing myself in an audiobook. I listen during work and when cleaning.
Yes!
No. Libraries have free audiobooks.

@Erin overdrive is a great app too! I listen to a book a week – all library borrowed. ?

I love audiobooks. I like going through the library and iTunes for mine though
Audiobooks are great but I don’t use audible. It’s too expensive for me. I use Libby and Scribd.
@Laura can you have audiobook rentals sent to the audible app? I’ve been curious about that

and there’s a sale this week, 27 pages of books that are all under $5. I went a little nuts ?
Yes, those were all former Daily Deals. I got a few that I had missed too.
I only just subscribed again a few weeks ago so I had never seen a lot of them. It’s really cool that they do that. I love the daily deals.
@Jill My husband renews my Audible account for my birthday each year. He know what I like 🙂
following as I have the same question.
