Pls recommend good suspense thriller books that keeps ur mind boggling…they need to be really interesting with a good story line to keep you hooked…Thanks my book friends in advance??
Stuart MacBride & Val McDermid are some of my favourites. 🙂
I love Val McDermid, although some of the plots can be disturbing.
The Partner by John Grisham
Tana French.
Ruth Rendell aka Barbara Vine. I can usually figure out plot twists a few pages in, but she is an excellent writer who can really keep you guessing. She’s prolific too. She wrote her first book in 1964 and kept writing until shortly before her death a year or two ago. Love her!!
The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine
The Lying Game by Ruth Ware
The Hypnotist’s Love Story by Liane Moriarty
I love the later one, is funny and suspenseful, my favorite so far
The house next door by Anne rivers Siddons. I read the whole book in two hours because I could not put it down !!
I don’t read a lot of thrillers, but for one that left me mind blown – and up way past my bedtime – “I’m Thinking of Ending Things” by Iain Reid. One of those books that’s all the better by going in blind!
Lars Kepler Books! I believe The Hypnotist is the first one. Soooo good!
Jo Nesbo, a newer Scandivian writer. His books are clever and quite heavy.
Mo Hayder also writes very good mysteries. Edgy.
If you haven’t read Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, it’s a must for thrillers.
Women’s murder Club series by James Patterson
Final Girls was good
The Kind Worth Killing and Behind Her Eyes.
The kind worth killing was so good… first book I read and finished in 2018! Hard to follow that ?
Yes! The Kind Worth Killing was so good!

P. D. James hasn’t been mentioned. Her mysteries are complex and her prose is beautiful.
Down River by John Hart. This book is extremely captivating.
The Silent Girls by Eric Rickstad ?
The Kept Woman by Karin Slaughter ?
The Couple Next Door by S. Lapena ?
I loved Shutter Island and The Ruins.
I liked both of these.
