The narrator is excellent. It’s a story that takes place after WWII while weaving memories from times past. Charlotte has a little problem and is determined to find her long lost cousin. She finds an unlikely ally in Evelyn – the chronic drunk. It’s so well done.
I suggest The Diviners by Libba Bray. It’s a paranormal/mystery story set in the 1920s. The narrator is amazing. She makes the book sound like you’re watching a movie.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a great audiobook!
