I was just looking into it after seeing a few recommendations for heartbreak warfare and was wondering if getting the unlimited would be better than buying it outright.
I had the free trial and then cancelled. Didn’t have a lot of books I was looking for and you still had to pay for some things. Didn’t seem worth it. But that was my experience
It’s worth it if you’re a readaholic and read multiple books each month and aren’t excessively picky about what you read. It often takes a few false starts to find something worth reading from the available titles, and I’ve found some bad editing among the unlimited titles. Having said that, I keep it because I read so quickly and it’s a cheap way to support my habit. And, I live full time in an RV and have no room for the amount of books I read.
I love it!! It’s opened me up to authors I might not have spent money on to check out. Also my addiction to reading is a at one book a day. Saved dollars, lol
I had it and canceled it cause none of the books I wanted to read were included. There are a zillion self published Kindle books in the program – many of dubious quality.
Great for readers of genre fiction of romance, sci-fi, etc, that really plow through books. If you’re not willing to read self-published authors, probably not worth it, because that is the bulk of their library. If you don’t mind self-published books, there are some great authors to discover on there!
No But joining several libraries at once is! Request away- free audio or eversions, or hey go in for a actual paper book. Don’t waste your money- donate the amount you would’ve w the unlimited… just a thought…
I checked out what was available via “unlimited” and noticed many of the quality, new, classic, popular titles were not offered. It’s a good deal if you’re not particularly interested in those. There are good books offered, just not everything.
I love it, but just be aware the new bestsellers might not be on that plan. It is a great way to discover different authors though and things you may not have read otherwise.
I tried KU, but found that most books I chose to borrow were only $5 to buy, and because Kindle Unlimited Australia costs approx $14 per month, which is close to equal the cost of owning three books a month, and because I prefer to own a book more than borrow a book, and because I found that many books I wanted were not part of their library. I dropped it.
I think so. You can (I think) have up to 10 books checked out at one time and keep them for as long as you want or need. Most of the books I want to read are on unlimited. I have run into a few we’re they were not, but I’m ok with buying books if I really want it. ?
Definitely…it’s a mini library in the handbag!
Ok, you sold me! ? plus they have the first month free, so what’s to lose?
I literally got it for the sake of re-reading Harry Potter and it’s been so worth it thus far.

Yes, especially if you have multiple people with kindles in your family.
No I dont think so
I want it too, but it’s not available here?
I tried it and it didn’t have any of the books on my TBR, but one month free doesn’t hurt anything!
I have used it and just ok but thinking of signing up again for a few months as they are advertising 99 cents per month

i’ve discovered great outside-the-box authors that way, so yes.
I love it!! It’s opened me up to authors I might not have spent money on to check out. Also my addiction to reading is a at one book a day. Saved dollars, lol
Can’t lose to try it. You can cancel anytime. No yearly contract.
I didn’t like it personally but I think there is a free trial.
Love it!

@Guusje same here. Most of the books were sub-par.
I didn’t like it. I either buy books so I can keep them or I check them out for free on Overdrive.

I’ve been happy with it.
Thanks everyone. I got the free trial and have already found a few books that I love ?
