Depends on how much you read. I ended up cancelling because they just didn’t have very good options. Very few new releases. I have better luck with the library and it’s free.
How is it different that Amazon Prime where you do get a lot of free books? I know Prime is more but you would get other advantages than just the kindle books. I’m thinking of doing one of the two.
I’ve gotten a decent amount of free books from prime. I like it because I also get a selection of movies to watch, tv shows and they have their own music app. Plus you get free 2day shipping for a lot of items with prime
I like Scribd better. It’s $8.99 per month, I believe, and it beats Unlimited hands down in terms of popular titles available. Some are only in audio format, though. Of the last six or eight books my book club read, I found all but one on Scribd. You’ll find a nice selection of magazines there, too.
I’ve tried to twice. Once for over a year, the other not so long. Not worth it if you’re not reading every single second of the day, but it does have a great book selection.
I joined Kindle Unlimed for the free month with the plain to cancel afterward the 30 days. I dedcided to just keep it and pay the ten bucks a month. I am really enjoying reading the unlimited books!
Maybe. If you read enough. That would probably average about two books per month. or only one if you buy the new releases. Or less. Your local library and thrift shop are both cheaper. And, for an ebook, just as easy.
Most of the books I downloaded were pretty low quality. Depends how picky you are haha. I gave it 2 or 3 months but find Prime is better value for the extras you get, given that I wasn’t enjoying most of the books.
PS. I’m sure there are amazing gems in there, but you must have to dig for them. I read maybe one book in all that time that I still actually remember today.
I liked it because you can alternate between the text and audio version of the book you’re reading if the audio is available. They don’t have many popular new releases but they do have some good books that are Amazon Exclusives. I subscribed for a couple of years and ultimately canceled and started using Libby and getting free books through the library.
It is for me, but I read a book a day!! Try it if you don’t like it cancel. I have found many good books, but I don’t follow new release lists and such. I see what book is about and decide if I want to read it.
I love my Kindle Unlimited. A lot of what I read are crime / mystery and there are a lot of options. You can borrow up to 10 books at a time and no limit how long you keep them. I have found numerous new authors this way and a lot of the BookBub recommendations are on KU. Love love love it.
It depends on how much you read. I read about 4-5 books a week so it is worth it to me. You don’t get current best sellers but I’ve discovered some great new authors. You also get prime video with it.
Definitely
Yes very good.

No. Not all books are included and you can download straight from the library on overdrive for free.
Definitely if you read a lot. I was spending over $50 a month on books and shipping.
Look at it this way if you read just one book a month you got your money’s worth.

I don’t think the type of books they have are what I’m interested in. I prefer the library and Audible

I like Bookbub but (even though it’s a monthly fee) I spend almost all my time utilizing Audible
No! just use your library card to access online books
I use it a lot. But you won’t find current best sellers.

I’m a prime member as well and I didn’t realize this for kindle unlimited
Kindle Unlimited is separate from Prime Membershpi
If you read a lot and go through multiple books quickly then yes. Otherwise no
I use Overdrive when I can, but my library has very long wait lists for digital media.
