Good advice! I took some leaps of faith with a 3-month offer and came away with having enjoyed the best books I’ve read so far this year — and they weren’t new releases or new authors.
I go on and off with it honestly. Some months when I know im going to read line I should be committed, I do it. But months like this where I’m going through a lot of personal stuff, I canceled it. But last month it saved me $23 ??♀️
I just don’t like it??♀️. But, most of my friends love it. I get so many books, ebooks and audiobooks from my library, I didn’t really feel the need to continue with it. So many books to read and not enough time to read them all?
Agreed. The breadth of books is fairly narrow. Surprisingly, though, when I took advantage of a 3 months for $1.99 offer, and took leaps of faith, I found, much to my pleasant surprise, many books and authors unknown to me which became some of the best books I’ve read so far this year.
Not for me. The aspect I like best re: Kindle Unlimited is the access to audio books. Unfortunately, new books are usually not available with the service, nor are their audio counterparts. That being said, Amazon ran a 3-months for $1.99 special last spring and that, indeed, was worth it — I put all my other reading plans aside for those three months and focused on the KU plan. Otherwise, the library, OverDrive, Hoopla and my already-purchased books & audio books keep me drowning in to-read selections.
For me, yes.
Honestly I’d look up genres and authors you like see if There is a good amount that takes part in Kindle Unlimited.

It depends on how many books you can get through a month. Some months it’s worth it for me, and other months I don’t read any of the free books
It’s worth it for me! I was spending almost $100 a month is audio books with an audible subscription. I’m always finding books in there that I like.

I love it but that’s just me but mainly it depends on your tastes
I don’t like the book options… maybe with a few suggestions my mind will change.

Prime reading is basically the same thing. Get prime and get the free reading that’s worth it
I love reading new or not popular authors on it

I didn’t find anything good on there to read. I ended up canceling it and getting Audible instead.
