@Pheebs It is a really long book and some people get really discouraged but I love how much detail he goes into when describing the characters and personally that is why I love it. Makes me feel like they are my friends and that I am apart of the losers club, but that’s what lots of people don’t like about it haha.
Yes really good. I love the slow build up that King does where he develops the characters, gives us so much description of the setting, takes us through the backstories….etc. This is also perfect weather, atmosphere, and time for this particular read.
I know! I found myself skipping paragraphs because I was so tired of the information that really did not pertain to the story at all. Was not a good book to me just kind of mehhh.
This is an issue with many film adaptations of Stephen King novels. His horror is intensely psychological and gets deep into the fears of the characters, something he accomplishes by delving into their thoughts and the movies have so far failed to bring that out by focusing mainly on the events of the story so they generally suck. The Shining is the one example of a King horror story that translated well into film. His books are SO much better than the films made about them.
Currently reading. Other than the length the book has been pretty good so far. To me it’s a little slow. I prefer fast reads and this is definitely not a fast read
I have attempted it twice and I just couldn’t get past all the drawn out stuff. It made me bored. I like fast moving books too. Ones that just get you from page to page.
Yes! Loved this book, it’s very long but stick with it cos it is really good ☺️
I liked it. One of my factory Stephen King books
Meh. Too long.
One of the best!!
It’s a good book but felt very long. Normally I don’t mind a fast paced long book, this one tested me by being a tad slow at times
I haven’t read his books but there not my kind of books I don’t like horror fiction unless it’s got another genre with it.
I absolutely loved it.
I am going a re read this month!!
That’s why I was thinking about reading it now

Fantastic
I couldn’t get into it x
Loved it! One of his classics!
Read it years ago. Remember enjoying it but being disappointed at the end.
Don’t particularly like Stephen King, for me he doesn’t get to the point quick enough. Just a case of verbal diarrhoea.
Did the book and the movie.. I enjoyed, but I enjoy his books.
Watch out for the clowns in the future….
It’s so good!!!
I hate that book. Reading it was a chore.
Great book! His writing is very detailed, so be prepared with lots of coffee and biscuits!
Brilliant x
My favorite book – ever!
IT is very good. It’s long, but well worth the time.
Yes! Great book.
Only managed to get half way through scared the crap out of me lol ???
ANY GOOD??? It’s amazing!!!
Only book I never finished.

Haven’t read it but my girlfriend didn’t like it at all. Then again, she’s not a huge stephen king fan in general.
I liked it
I gave up. Sorry. It just went on, and on, and on, and about nothing in particular.
I know! I found myself skipping paragraphs because I was so tired of the information that really did not pertain to the story at all. Was not a good book to me just kind of mehhh.
Read it a few times, first book I read as a teeny bopper xxx very different reading as an adult. Will re read before part 2 comes out
I read it last year. It gets 4 stars from me. I would give it 5 stars, except for “that one icky part”. It really wasn’t necessary.
It is an utterly terrifying book so if you love horror, I highly recommend it…though sewers and clowns will freak you out for the rest of your life.
Well I watched the movies and tbh horror films don’t really scare me so I’m really hoping I do get a good scare out of the book

One of his best reads x

agree. It was torture for me to get through it.
I have attempted it twice and I just couldn’t get past all the drawn out stuff. It made me bored. I like fast moving books too. Ones that just get you from page to page.
One of the best books I’ve read.
Fab-u-lous!!! ?
