@Becky it seems like there were navigating issues and I couldn’t find something that should have been easily accessible. I don’t remember specifics. I downloaded it about a month ago and was super frustrated with it.
OK, so … I’m a new Overdrive user myself. First book I downloaded from the library, it opened full screen. I left it open for the first few days and then had to do a restart of my laptop (Mac), and never could get full screen again. Is full screen normal or not? If normal, can anyone tell me how to get it to open that way?
Woo hoo! I regularly email my library to request they purchase new releases when I don’t see the downloadable audio format available on their website. It’s great.
You will love it! I know I do! <3 <3
I ? overdrive
What’s overdrive?
Ebook/audiobook app links to libraries
Ooh.
No late fees -automatic returns!
Check out the Libby app in the Google play store. It uses overdrive but it’s much easier to use.
I hear libby will replace overdrive in time.
I detest Libby! I’ll definitely be sticking with OD until Libby gets their crap together.
What don’t you like, @Chrissy? I’m kind of new at both but have an easier time downloading with Libby.

I have both, but have been using overdrive longer so I’m more familiar with it
I just registered for Overdrive last week. Book#1 is downloaded. Enjoy!
You’re gonna love it!!
I also use Hoopla
Hmmm. What is this?
Similar to Overdrive. Links to your library. Offers less options, but no waiting
I’ll have to check that out. Thanks!
Woot!

Yay! Welcome to audiobook and ebook life!
Libby keeps “forgetting my libraries”. It’s a pain since I have quite a few.
Best thing ever! I love overdrive !
Overdrive and Hoopla are great.
Thank you guys!!! I am so excited
I wish I had this much interaction in my business group!!! ???
Yea! I have five Library cards and accounts on Overdrive.
I just got my fifth
@Cassandra it’s great, right?! Congrats!
Love it
LOVE overdrive!!
Yes love it ❤️
Hooray
You can also use it to check out actual books ?
Ha!!! I am not a fan of print books. Sad to say!
And I’m just the opposite. As long as we both love reading, that’s all that matters. ?
@Brandi: You can use Overdrive or Libby to download e-books and audio books, too.
Yay! Another world opened up to your fingertips! Enjoy!
Yay!!!!!
You can also use Axis 360.
What is axis 360?
@Cheryl a free ebooks site .
I got it through my library of San Francisco.
Check with your local public library.
?✌️
Love Overdrive.
Love it. The first version wasn’t very good but the update is great.

Try using Hoopla with overdrive that’s where I get many not available from my library
I use Overdrive, Hoopla, Axis, and RBClick. I’ve found that sometimes the newest books aren’t available when they’re first released.
I haven’t used the others, just overdrive and Hoopla
