@Tami well, ive used their ebooks and audiobooks, which ive used. But ive not found a way to stream videos so i can’t even see if there is something id like to see, as i thought thatd be cool as well(i read at night on my kindle while watching a show on my phone)
Just FYI – you can pay for yearly access to a some larger library systems ebook and audio resources. I belong to Brooklyn Public Library and they have way more titles than my local library. It’s $50 per year.
Lisa Stock though this is totally awesome and in no way am I dismissing you or your suggestion, but as a librarian I would just suggest to use both? maybe? Because it’s tons of money for the library to pay and keeps us relevant to our communities for this type of subject matter
My overdrive and libby app stopped audiobooks and has transfered audio to CloudLibrary app. I have 5 library apps ? Hoopla. BookMyne. Libby. Overdrive. CloudLibrary
Overdrive is a game changer. I belong to three libraries thru it. No driving to return books. No late fees. auto checkout when holds are available. Both audio and regular ebooks.
If the library has Overdrive, check to see if they also have Hoopla. Hoopla options will vary depending on what the library subscribes to, but can include audio books, digital comics, movies, music… Rentals are typically 3 days, and 10 per month.
Both
Both, I think.
both
Thanks guys!
both, you can use either the OverDrive app or the Libby app.
Both!
Mine said audio and ebooks so I was confused. lol

Libby is a little more user-friendly, in my opinion. I’ve only checked out one audiobook from the app so far, but it was a smoother experience for me.
Both. They also have magazines, movies, and tv shows. You can also check out Hoopla, though not sure if it’ll be available with your library
Yes. They have another app – Libby. Easier to use. Also, Hoopla. This app is tied to the.library system.
@Sarah I agree that Libby is much easier
Overdrive supports both formats. Your library carries what it carries.

@Lisa that’s amazing! I had no idea. So cool

@Barbara I am also a librarian, and I agree. I’m just offering another avenue for access.
