I think that the content was very original, and I loved the way the story unfolded. The author flip flops each chapter from the past to current time. His writing is very good, it draws you in and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Cassandra Diane, I loved it right up until the end. The ending didn’t do it for me. Now, if it was a duo or trilogy that wrapped up my questions. That would completely change my opinion.
It was a good book and had I not heard so so so much about the book, I probably would have loved it. It was unique and intriguing. However, it couldn’t live up the what I heard. Also, no books scare me and many said it was super scary.
@Cassandra maybe I was lucky then…I had not heard of it until recently, so I didn’t expect much. It’s also been a while since I’ve read this genre, so it was a refreshingly different read for me.
I loved this book!! I don’t think I’m going to like the Netflix movie, though. Just from the trailers I can see changes to the most fundamental elements of the storyline. They should have kept to the book version. I think it would have been great as is.
Wonderful story, reckoned we could combine a handful of unrelated information, nevertheless actually worth taking a look, whoa did 1 master about Mid East has got additional problerms also.
Haven’t heard of it.
Thanks. I’ll keep an eye out for it.
What did u love most about it?

I also loved that one. I read it last year but it really stuck with me!
I enjoyed that book. Can’t wait for Netflix to release the movie.
Me too. Hope they do a good job with it!
I’m reading that one now, actually! Liking it so far!
Couldn’t live up to the hype for me ?
@Cassandra me either.
@Lorelei agreed! If we all liked the same things, what a boring place this would be.
@Rosa amen

@Felicia I couldn’t agree more. I definitely did not love the ending. Would love to see where it would go from there!

I read horror often and I’d herd about this book for over a year before I read it.
I have it on hold

I just watched the trailer for the first time last night, and I agree about not liking the changes. So disappointing.
Sounds like a great read.
