I very rarely read a whole book in one day. But on a good day some 6 or 7 hours of reading time will get me halfway through most standard lenght novels, so a book in a weekend and one or sometimes maybe two in the working week. So 1-3 books a week, if it is fiction and read for my own pleasure.
I usually read a book a day. So amount of time varies. I work full and have 2 little boys, but as soon as they go to bed I usually start and finish a book.
Not enough ? I’ve always been a bit of an insomniac, and I am a fast reader. So my kids are in bed around 730. So I’ll read for 4 or 5 hours after that. I can often finish a regular size book in that time. Some bigger books keep me up until 2 or 3 but that isnt the norm. Reading keeps me sane in my busy life ?
Also, if a guy from Nigeria tells you he won the lottery but needs you to loan him 10% of the total amount of the winnings in order for him to be able to claim said winnings, and he promises to split the 10 bazillion dollar prize with you, and it seems kind of strange to you but, hey, half of ten bazillion is a lot of money, and your wife protests, but she protests EVERYTHING ,so you take a second mortgage out on your house anyway and go ahead and borrow it to the guy, cuz if you cant trust a nice humble nigerian guy you met online and have known for over three days then who CAN you trust, and then your wife FREAKS out like she ALWAYS does when you refinance the house to pursue what she calls ” another one of your childish boneheaded financial endeavors, nick”, and now it’s just this GINORMOUS mess w divorce lawyers and me having to take a second job w the traveling circus just to make ends meet. And the guy who’s in charge of the dunk tank doesn’t have to be such a jerk, making lewd “wet t shirt contest” type comments EVERY time a customer hits the mark and knocks me into the drink, I mean, what’s up with THAT guy? ..so, yeah, Ines is right guys, don’t believe everything you read online.
I know the largest volume I’ve read in a day was when I was on summer vacation before going to grade 7 and bought and read the complete works of William Shakespeare on about 3 or so hours
I don’t read a book a day I am usually every other day depends on what book I am reading and how enthralled I get into that book. Working full time is hard to spend more than say an hour a day on my reading.
@Sean work definitely puts a damper on how much I would like to read. I stayed up way too late last night/this morning though. I’ll pay for it today! ??
I’ve taken a break. Reading one at the moment, spend more time writing now. I think all authors are book lovers ? just released my 1st book on Amazon & half way done with book#2 I’m excited!
I try to read everyday. Usually at night till I get tired. Depending on how long the chapters are. If they are short I can read a lot of chapters but if longer probably a few. Plus I read one book at a time. Don’t know how people read more than one book at a time
@Jane I do the same as you basically. Occasionally I’ll read more than one book at a time. Sometimes I start meshing the stories together so I have to cut it back to just one book.
4-6 hours a day.
Anywhere from 3-5 hours, depending. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
Books per day is prob 1 or maybe half of one.

Depends on the day. Sometimes if I’m lucky I can get in 3-4 chapters but usually it’s 1-2 before bed.

If you work a full time job and have two children and read an entire book, how much time do you sleep?

I don’t rush through a book.
I read about 100 pages usually
I am about one book maybe one and a 1/2 books per month. Amazing the ones I see who read an entire book in a day.
If I am not working 3 to 5 hours a day. On days I work 1 to 2 hours.
I usually only read at night before bed, at least during the week. I tend to read 20-50 pages at a sitting. On the weekend though…triple that.
Depends how much time I have and if its a page turner.
2 to 3 depending on the day and the book
50 pages a day
I try to read 1/4 of the book a day
Well right now a page for me works lol I have a 1 year old and a 2 month old lol
If the book is good, I read it straight through…..normally 3 or more a week…..but, I emphasize that I read for my enjoyment and not as a speed thing.
Umm I go between books but I rarely finish a book in a day.
But I read bits of 3 books .
Usually part of one or two.
I work nights. So I have a lot of free time. Reading & Netflix ⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
50-200 pages a day but I work full time and it depends on how tired I am. Weekends, I smash thru books like the Hulk.
Usually about 300-400 pages a day.
7 or 8
Gosh – you can honestly read up to 9 books in one day? That’s amazing.
In a day? how?? how many pages do your book has?
I think he meant pages, not books 😀
No I cant. Not at all. It was a joke.
See, a lesson for you kids, don’t believe everything you read online 😀
@Ines you don’t know how correct you are.

9 on weekends
I can barely read just the one lol but I used to read 2-3 books a day as a teen.
How much time do people have on their hands to be able to read more than one?! I read like one a week…
Maybe 100 pages a day!!!
I know the largest volume I’ve read in a day was when I was on summer vacation before going to grade 7 and bought and read the complete works of William Shakespeare on about 3 or so hours
I just read and reviewed two yesterday
If you can not read a book over and over again don’t even read it!
Depends upon circumstances, mood, book’s length and plot.
I never read a book in a day but do read 2 or 3 at the same tine

0, I read a book per week

5 pages? If I’m lucky…
Depends on how good the book is and how much time I have
If I am off for the day, I may read a whole book and part of another one. I read every free moment that I get.
