I used to be able to read a book a week, however, during the year there are lulls. Also, lately, I’ve been reading lengthier novels, so my average has declined by a lot.
According to my Kindle reader thingie, most books take me about 5 hours to complete based on my reading speed, but a lot of them don’t always list page numbers, just weird location info. Don’t know why. I can finish about 3 books a week based on my reading habits.
I read daily and can usually get through it within 1-2 days. So about 6-7 books weekly. (I’m a full time student and working two jobs but I make time to read lol)
It all depends. Sometimes a book of two per week, sometimes a few per month. It also depends on the size of the book(s), and my mindset. I deal w/depression and sometimes I just am not in a reading “mood”. I am also not a quick reader. When my depression isn’t an issue, I’ve read at least a book a week – sizeable books, 400+ pages.
Depends. Sometimes I can read a book in a day or two, sometimes it takes a week, and other times I need a couple weeks or month break. I’m currently in my 29th book this year.
Daily. Suffering ill health – the only thing that helps me through each day is jumping inside a book and hiding from the real world – that and walking my dog …
Depends if the chapters are lengthy or short do other things beside reading too but I do prefer my kindle as can turn the print to suit my eye strength as hav retina failure in my left eye
4-5 a week. I can finish a book in a day. I read in most of my free time though. Breaks at work. Audio books while I work. Then once the kids are in bed I read for 3-4 hours before going to sleep.
I used to read about 2 books a week, but lately I’ve been taking my time, doing more things ??♀️ It’s been taking me nearly 2 weeks to get through a <400-page book ??♀️
When I’m in reading mode, I go through a book every couple of days or so. If I’m doing other stuff like crafting, and reading is more of a just before bed thing, I could go through a book weekly.
It just depends. I will go through stages where I read 3-4 a week then months where I hardly read anything. Just now coming out of a reading slump and getting into another series that has captured my interest. Big books so it took me almost 3 days to read the first one.
It depends on my family, work, friends, volunteer work. When I have time I finish and (enjoy!) a book in one or two days. I read as much as possible every day. I use goodreads to keep track so if you want a figure: “You have read 169 of 200 books in 2018.” My Books: Currently Reading (8)
Depends on what else I have going on. I the summer I can read more. Now that I am back to work it takes much longer.
When I’m reading a lot, usually weekly.

I usually read 2 – 3 books per week, aprox. 500+ pages long.
About the same.
Impressive. 🙂

I’m a slow reader, wish I wasn’t.
I buy about 40 books a month to feed my habit, so I have to haunt discount racks and the like.
Two books a month, not really much but its not really my goal to read a lot of books a month.
At least one a week.
Daily, no job, no life.

Very slow reader here. It will take me a month and a half on average. Some longer, a few faster.

Never count.
I aim for one per week. It depends on the length and difficulty of the book.
(I have school, work, volunteer stuff, workouts, and a significant other… I’d read more if there were more time.)
Monthly cause I’m arusrrush thru a book. nighttime reader which often limits my reading time. I rarely rush thru a book.
Monthly. I’m an impatient reader. I pick up a new book before I finish another so I’m usually reading three books at a time.
I used to read up to 3 books a week. In the last couple years though I’ve been slacking.
My average is 80+ books per year. That’s about two books per week.
Depends on the book. Depends on how much time I have to read.
Almost daily. 3-4 in a week
30-100 per month depending on how many migraines I have
@Michele 30 to 100 books a month. You must be a voracious reader or u must be reading books of max100 pages each … ?
@Nivedita voracious reader..natural speedreader
2-5 a week depending on work, mood, life getting in the way
Depends on how big they are.. currently I’ve read 5 books this week. (200-300 pgs) but I’ve also spent a month reading really lrg book..
4-5 a week. I can finish a book in a day. I read in most of my free time though. Breaks at work. Audio books while I work. Then once the kids are in bed I read for 3-4 hours before going to sleep.
I read 1-2 a week depending on how busy I am and how big the book is
Hourly.
At this point in my life I usually read one 4 to 6 hundred page book a week, sometimes longer sometimes shorter, basically it varies.
Depends. My daily average is about 50 pages a day. When i undertake things like ‘The Stand” or “Pillars of the Earth” that can take a few weeks.
If it’s a little 300 – 400 pager, I can get through it in a week.
Best case 4 a week. Worst case 1 per week and a half

I try to read a book every week but life happens too.
Daily/weekly.

It depends on the book.
Depends on the legnth and how much time I have to read. It takes me anywhere from daily to a month or longer.

When I’m not writing I can finish 2 books a week.
It just depends. I will go through stages where I read 3-4 a week then months where I hardly read anything. Just now coming out of a reading slump and getting into another series that has captured my interest. Big books so it took me almost 3 days to read the first one.

My Books: Currently Reading (8)
Depends on my schedule. Good month 6 books. 8 if I’m really lucky. Bad month 4 books.
I try to read one book per week.
Weekly
If it’s a really good book a day or two, if it’s an OK book about a week
One/week
It takes roughly a month because I have other hobbies I really enjoy and love spending time being active outside.
Depends on my mood and schedule. Some weeks I read 1 book, others I read 5.
My daily reading target is 30 – 50 pages per day. A slow week I can read 200 odd pages, but have been known to hit 600 pages in a week.
