Physical books like 8, I think. And books on my kindle.. 2. I’m cheap, so I’m reading books off KU. *I have like 12 books in the mail coming from thriftbooks. THAT IM PATIENTLY WAITING FOR ??
I have 94 on my goodreads “want to read” list, which means I own them. I have a few more lying around that I am rather ambivalent about, so haven’t added them in goodreads. Good thing I’m retired now!! ?
@Hayley I just make VERY good use out of the local library and I am part-time so have plenty of time to pop in…. you have to be organised though and have a list of books to order. That was harder before I was in 3 online book clubs, plenty of ideas now.
Yes I use my local library too. Mainly for new release books. As soon as I see a new release I want to read I reserve it at the library. I often have 5 books on reserve and eventually one pops up which I read between all mine. Got a notification today that the Rosie Result was ready for me to pick up.
@Hayley I want to read that too, loved the first one, second one not so much. Don Tillman is a fantastic character, I hope this last book does his character justice!
Around 20 (I’ve just had a birthday, plus I’ve downloaded a bunch my students picked for their oral exams). When at this point, I make sure to read more of those than buy/borrow new ones. I don‘t believe in accumulating stuff I don‘t need/use.
I think I have 12 which are still in bags, then I have about 100 in stacks on the floor of my lounge room, then there are the ones in my bedroom so maybe not quite 200……….and I’m still borrowing more from the library!!!!
Whitney Wheeler I have at least no kidding about 500 or more! And I honestly buy at least 5 a week! My husband is going crazy with my obsession of books! But guess what, I don’t care, I love to read! It’s my passion!
None, I read mostly Ebooks, sometimes physical books when they are not available in Ebook format from New York public Library and Queens Library, they have all books I love….
Right now less than 10.

That’s like counting stars in the sky
1500 paper books.. and soooo not counting ebooks …

I’m not sure exactly how many but two shelves worth.

Shelves full!
About two “Billy” shelves full.
Around 20 (I’ve just had a birthday, plus I’ve downloaded a bunch my students picked for their oral exams). When at this point, I make sure to read more of those than buy/borrow new ones. I don‘t believe in accumulating stuff I don‘t need/use.

About 80, between my physical and ebooks. I would have a much larger collection, if travelling all the time didn’t keep me from it. :,(

Less than 50 . . . but I love in an apartment that competes with fabulous rocks, minerals, gems, fossils and shells
