Atlas Shrugged. Read it in college. Life changing not necessarily because I agree with everything it stands for (my views have morphed in more ways than one as I’ve aged) but I loved the way it made me think. Will always be my favorite
I buy every copy of this book that I come across and give it to people, I think everyone in the world should read this book! It will wreck your soul and heal it all at the same time!!!!!
Others might think its silly but Karen Kingsbury’s angels walking was a huge eye opener for me. I loved it dearly. Read it 3-4 years ago and its still fresh on my mind. Biggest life changing story to me even tho others might not see it that way ❤
@Jennifer its not a book others might look at and think is eye opening but it def puts in persepctive just how are among us and work to help us. If you havent read it i HIGHLY recommend it. If you have, i hope you enjoyed it! ❤
The Red Tent… its set in biblical times and how all the women would go to the red tent when its their monthly time. Learned alot plus the power of women.
Jane Eyre. Read it for English in grade 10 and it captivated me in the first three pages. I was stunned. I’ve tried to figure out why since but I cannot. I just remember “this isn’t like Sweet Valley High or my Archie comics.” ? And I was hooked on “meaty” reads thereafter
The Perks of being a wallflower. Grabbed it in the airport book shop maybe 3-4 years ago so I read it as an adult. I have never related or felt more moved by a book before.
Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. I really identified with the main character who kept returning to her life of abuse bc she couldn’t believe/accept she deserved anything better.
Probably Boy in the Striped Pajamas was the most life changing. Really made me think about why we as humans judge others because of their birth or religeon
The Wind Call, Seabird, Amigo, Little House in the Big Woods, as a child. Gandhi’s autobiography. Steppenwolf, Gormenghast, the Hobbit, Dandelion Wine. All the great ones do if you’re listening.
Currently reading a children’s book that will astonish adult readers and change your entire thoughts about the world and civilization as you “generally” know it. This nonfiction book is mind altering, Outbreak, Plagues that Changed History, by Bryn Barnard, c. 2005
All I Ever Needed to Know, I Learned In Kindergarten. Not exactly life changing, but then it was food for thought. As was, The Best Thing That Almost Happened to Morris Bird III.

I enjoyed that book as well. I started reading the series but never finished. And now it’s not really my genre of interest. Good choice tho.
