The nightingale or the kite runner, mark of the lion series
The Bell Jar
A Thousand Splendid Suns
The Count of Monte Cristo
John Grisham’s The Innocent Man really made me reflect on my views on capital punishment. Loved Oliver Twist. I don’t know if it’s the best book I’ve ever read, but I really enjoyed it
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn!
One of my favorites!
To kill a mockingbird is my favorite book hands down…my second choice is wuthering heights
The Lord of the Rings. My older brother had a set with illustrated covers that was so enticing. I couldn’t wait to be old enough to read them. I would sneak into his room and try every few months to try, until suddenly I could!
Venum: To Kill a Mockingbird, Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Pigeon Pie Mystery are some of my favourite books ??
The Giving Tree, All the light we cannot see, A Prayer for Owen Meany
The kitchen house…the invention of wings…the nightingale…the story of a beautiful girl…so many more!!
The Walk series
Oh, I thought of another one that really stuck with me. 19 Minutes. Wrenching.
Best book ever, hands down, most impacting in my life was the Book of Mormon not even religiously but just wow…the stuff in that book is amazing. Action, romance, war strategy, intrigue, government complexities, family dramas, miracles…what book have you ever read that has more than all of that? It’ll make you weep and then cheer all the way to the end. Abraham Lincoln checked it out 3 times during his presidency just weeks before he wrote the Emancipation Proclamation and it was listed #3 Top most influential book in all of the Library of Congress. Yeah that book is awesome!
John Grisham’s A Time To Kill
I got that book
@Angela I’ve read it so many times that I actually lost track.
Oh ok and did you watch the movie
Amazing book! Really good movie too, one of my favorites
@Jessica mines too
Yes I did loved it as well. First movie that the script and book were actually the same. Some books that turn into movies are always a bit different, but not a Time To Kill
Me too and I like black history movies
