Maybe you could that Blind Date with a Book idea that some bookstores do. The books are wrapped and just have 3 or 4 clues about them on the wrapper.
I thought about that idea. I also thought maybe write a note on it saying why it’s your favorite book without giving away the title.
I’ve done this for a book exchange and it went over really well! So much fun!! We exchanged bookmarks too! 🙂
Each person can bring a book they have already read. Pull names out of a hat, and trade. Next person has the option to take one that is open and trade theirs for it, or pull a new name.
My book club exchanges books at our Christmas party. It must be a book you own. We write a limerick as a hint to what the wrapped book might be about.
That’s a cool idea.

Like a white elephant or Yankee swap gift exchange type of thing, right?
@Nicholas yes.. but with books.
Gotcha.
I’ve never heard of that but it’s a great idea
All these ideas sound fun.
