I think it might be a pretty new one called “Tyrannosaurus Rex vs. Edna the very first chicken” by Rees.
They love WALTER the Farting Dogs books! I love Margie Palatini’s books! Vivid verbs and very funny too! My all time FAVOURITE read aloud is Albert’s Old Shoes! – Great for plot – it is about bullying with a hilarious ending! ?

Not a book, but we show the cartoon “Lambert, the Sheepish Lion”. The kids love it. Works amazing for plot.

I found a resource on TPT for the Pixar Short films…it was engaging
I have used those. They are fantastic, great opportunity to talked about mixed media.
We use this. Just look up Pixar shorts on YouTube. You don’t have to buy anything.
