Haven’t read that. My 7yo likes James Patterson’s Middle school book series. They just made a movie of the first book in the last year or so.. Middle School: The worst years of my life? I believe. There’s several of the books.
Oh! The Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss is my all time favorite children’s book, but my kids love the Llama books. lol Middle school would be Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer and the Harry Potter series. The Hobbit (I think the Lord of the Rings trilogy would be fine for middle school age depending on the maturity of the child) and Narnia series are both excellent as well.
I just read Wonder by R.J. Palacio. It’s phenomenal. Also, Tuck Everlasting, Bridge To Terabithia, Where The Red Fern Grows…I haven’t read much MG since I was MG lol but I loved those when I was a kid.
