Favourite author: Jane Austen. Favourite book by her Persuasion but I think Sense and Sensibility and/or Mansfield Park is her best written. I also like: Ugly Ducling To Kill A Mockingbird Great Expectations Caribbean Slavery in the Atlantic World A Gentle Feuding…
Favorite author – Lisa Genova. She is a neuroscientist who writes novels about characters with brain injuries/disease/conditions. Her first book was Still Alice – Main character has early-onset Alzheimer’s; her latest book is Every Note Played – main character is a concert pianist who suffers from ALS. She writes so well that you care about the characters (& their care givers & families), while also learning a lot about their condition. Highly recommend everything she has written!
