Absolutely! If I walk into a bookstore, the first thing I see is the cover – it is bound to give a first impression. If I like it, I’ll read what the book is about and read some opinions about it and may buy it. But if the cover is immediately appalling, I won’t even pick it up, for I assume that the cover reflects something about the content. Looks can be deceptive of course, but still: first impressions matter.
The cover will catch the eye, of course, but I usually go bookshopping for specific authors or specific titles, so in the end I don’t really care about the cover.
Yes. Helps me filter out YA and Romance themed books I have no interest in.

Absolutely
It’s the first thing that gets my attention.
Usually
Of course!!
Yes… But I mostly judge a book I’ve never heard of before by its first line…
Same!
no…never
that’s why i avoid romances like the plague
Ha , yes! Sometimes an attractive cover can catch my attention and discover an author I would have otherwise overlooked.
I also judge a book by its title too
I don’t judge, but an attractive cover does peak my interest!
