Does the nook Ever give you a hard time?

Danielle

Never I love it 🙂 I read there more as I have kids and it’s the easiest thing to take around with me

I have the most basic Kindle version, just because I didn’t want any kind of light on it, and I love it. I’ve had Kindles for years now, and I read on them constantly.

Yes! The Nook from Barnes & Noble! It automatically installs software so you dont have to keep buying a new one every time there is an upgrade. They also have a bigger selection of books than Amazon.

I also have the Nook app on my phone. So I can shop and read right from my phone.

iPad. I can use iBooks, kindle, kobo etc and pick the cheapest price or best layout. I usually go with iBooks since they’re usually formatted so beautiful compared to others

Kindle Paperwhite, means I can read in bed without the light on which disturbs my husband, so he loves it too!

I’ve never bought anything but Nooks. One advantage (last I knew it did not hold true in reverse) is that you can have the Kindle app on it as well as the Nook one.

I love the kindle. Great selection of books… Hasn’t been a book I haven’t been able to find. Really easy to use which isn’t something I experienced with any nook I’ve owned or used. Kindle was probably the best tech tool I’ve ever invested in and I’m hoping to get the oasis sometime soon.

Kindle app on laptop and Kindle Fire, it still does strain my eyes though I have been messing with the brightness level trying to see what works, I can sit longer with a regular book.

Paperwhite – I can’t read on tablets either for the same reason but with my kindle, it’s really like reading a book but better 🙂

Kindle Paperwhite. Never tried anything else so can’t compare. But, I love it. Seriously love it.
It bothers me slightly that I have become an Amazon junkie and am now feeding the corporate tax dodging beast……but they make it so easy ?

I have a Kindle Fire, I don’t particularly like the Kindle Paperwhite as there is no colour?

I absolutely love my Kindle Paperwhite… True it doesn’t have colour but it’s backlight is awesome and it’s anti glare unlike the tablets you can get…

Guys who have phones, tablets, phablets, etc, I highly recommend Moon+ Reader, pay smth like $5 to remove ads, turn night mode on, download a blue light filter app and your eyes are all set. It’s a good option at least to know if you wanna buy any of those Kindles or Nooks, any of the other e-readers. You get to try it almost free before deciding. 🙂

I loved my kobo. I don’t like the idea of being locked into Amazon. Kobo can read other non drm files and that’s something I really value.

Although now i mostly use my phone. Oled screens all the way for reading at night!

It’s a bit headache inducing, but I have been able to get other formats onto my Kindle. I’ll probably give Kobo a try next time I’m in the market, though. I hear a lot of good things.

Kindle Paperwhite is great! I’ve heard great things about the Oasis too. Whatever you do, don’t get the kindle fire or any tablet, it’s not an e-reader and is super bad for your eyes! E-readers are much better, no backlight and it looks like a real paper page.

I love books but now have a Kindle. I find I like the fact I can adjust the size of the font and the brightness to read. I’m in my 70’s and some of the older paperbacks are a strain to read the print is so small.
