I looooove the tv show. So I’m thinking reading the books. But I’m scared it won’t be as similar and ruin the beautiful Jamie fraser and his magnificent accent on tv.

The books are richer and the series does a very good job interpreting Diana’s work, she is a consultant on the show and has done a cameo and written for the series as well…go for it!

Yes read the whole series but haven’t gone for the Lord John spin offs etc. It’s a long read but I loved it and missed the characters when I was gone and was homesick for Fraser’s Ridge for ages.
