His non-Robert Langdon books (which I can’t get into after the first two) are actually pretty awesome. Loved Deception Point! Wish he would do more of these!
I hate to disagree with a lady (normally ends badly for me) but average at best. Like most authors he does write better ones than others. I just find myself trying to get through them as quickly as possible. 😉
I don’t like his books. I-don’t think he is a good writer. Those comments may be preferred than telling a reader they have made a poor choice by saying … poor you. Words matter. Your sentiment and your words seem to have a disconnect.
Glen Martin Of course. To each her own. What I’ve done for a living much of my life is to coach executives and aspiring leaders how to navigate the corporate environment Doing that successfully is so much about relationships and how you are perceived by others
in my tbr
Love that book, my first dan Brown book!
Poor you!!!
you didn’t like it?
no…I am not a Dan Brown fan . Sorry.
I love all Dan Brown’s book. He feeds my live of solving puzzles.
Your opinion…But his books contain bad history, bad science and bad story telling…my opinion

I find him a average at best story teller.
Again, agree on his more popular books. The others are pretty unique and enjoyable!

Fair enough!
The quickest way through them is to read something else. 😉
Great book my favorite by him
Can’t say a bad place to begin. But I do hope that as time passes, you find better author to like. 🙂
give me names of some of the best author’s to look out for.
I think a good next step might be Michael Crichton.
I would say Michael Crichton….loved The Sphere.
Andromeda Strain, The Terminal Man, Sphere, Congo, Jurassic Park, Timeline…
Such a wide range of books
Indeed. 🙂
@Somdeb great.thnks
Very much enjoyed Jurassic Park but Sphere wasn’t for me. Looking forward to reading more Crichton though
Try Eaters of the Dead.
Thoughts on Prey? Have it on my shelf
I enjoyed it.
@Moh Anytime. 🙂
Prey is definitely not of the same standard as Crichton’s best, but it is also enjoyable.
sheesh are the rude comments about someone’s favorite author necessary? not everyone likes the same thing
Variety is the spice of life. To each her own. And many other cliches apply
I thought rather restrained comments

Haven’t read Dan Brown yet.. in my TBR.
I’ve read DaVinci Code and Angel’s and Demons but none of his others. I do own Digital Fortress , and I almost bought Origin on Tuesday.
I haven’t read his books but he is one of my husband’s favourites. He enjoyed Digital Fortress.
I’m reading Origin and really like it.
I have read all of Dan Brown s and i liked Inferno the best
This is a great book, why they have not made a movie of it is beyond me.
Love the book
