LOVE that movie ??
I havent seen the movie but I have read the book.
Haven’t seen it or read the book. I have heard of it, though.
Kathy Bates plays in it. Its wild! LOL! Makes me NEVER want to be an author! HAHA!
Yeah, I know that. Though, I am kind of hesitant, given how she treats James Caan’s character.
The movie and the book are both great.
I agree!!!
Great movie!
Once, but it was a looong time ago.
Never saw the movie. But the book was great
Loved the movie and the book!
Love that movie!
Kathy Bates is incredible
Movie is good ! ??

Kathy Bates is amazing in that movie!!!!!
@Arielle, YES!!!!!!!
She became one of my favorite actresses all because of that role!!!
I own the book but havent read
Seen it.
movie is good, book is brilliant
??
A couple times.
Love that movie!!
Read it. Not interested in seeing it ?
I’ve seen the movie. It made me laugh. I read the book and it scared the he’ll out of me.
@Sheila books are always scarier because you paint your own picture instead of a film director’s version
@Christine the emotional state of the characters and their thoughts are a bonus too. In the movie, she breaks his feet of ankle or something. In the book, she put a board between his ankles and hit the ankle so the board would break both of them. It was frightening. In the movie, it was pathetic and silly. I laughed.
@Sheila Stephen King has always had a weird sense of humor. He’s very tongue in cheek it’s one of the things I love about him. He doesn’t spoil the tension but it’s just a very subtle thing kind of in between the lines.
I do agree there was a lot of silliness in the movie & I feel it helped make it scarier
Ms. Bates at her finest! ?
I’ve seen it
It’s a classic.
SHE IS SUCH AN AWESOME ACTRESS.
“NO!!! SHE CANT BE DEAD!” LOL! I was like, oh god, here we go! LOL
Seen movie..was ok
Deservedly awarded an Academy Award for Best Actress
I saw it a long time ago. I got to know some days ago that the film version watered down the bit at the end concerning the feet.
Love it seen it I don’t know how many times. I also have the book.
Great film
i have used it for part of my dissertation for my degree
I saw it. Amazing movie. I think I saw it like 50 Times lol
The movie was good. Should read the book too. Scary af
Good movie. Kathy Bates was great in it.

The Book Was Well Written
Yes, have seen it. Not as good as the book though.
Love it !
Love the movie and the book, both♥️
One of the few King adaptations worth watching. Anybody other that Kathy Bates, and it could have been a catastrophe.
Phenomenal movie!!
Didn’t King also write “Dolores Claiborne”, with a subsequent movie of the same name, also with Kathy Bates?
@Carol yes he did
He did write Delores Claiborne, but I dont know about the movie. Kathy Bates was in Misery though.
@Sheila yes Kathy Bates again
@Sheila Dolores Claiborne was really good. It was totally by the book.
Excellent movie!
Yes. A long time ago. Kathy Bates got an Oscar for her performance.
I saw the movie many years ago and loved it.
