Kindle Paperwhite. Light, thin, backlit so you can read in the dark, no glare so you can read in direct sunlight. I love mine.

Depends on your demands of it. I like the multifunctionality of the 8th gen kindle. Has audible, is friendly with comic books, small form factor, and Bluetooth compatible

I have a Nook Glowlight Plus. So far, I love it! The only downside is that you will need a computer to download your library books. That doesn’t bother me too much. But the kindle paperwhite is also great!

I love my Oasis, but the best bang for your buck is probably the Paperwhite (which I also have).

Oasis if you can justify the price; Paperwhite if not. I wouldn’t recommend any Kindle that doesn’t have a backlit screen unless you only plan on reading outside on sunny days.
